Finally!!! After years of the iPhone being introduced, and being offered on the major national Wireless Carriers, regional carrier Cricket Wireless (owned by Leap Wireless) has announced it will be offering Pre-Paid Service for the iPhone.
For several years now, Pre-Paid service has been one of the fastest growing segments in the wireless industry. Now the catch is that subscribers will have to shell out full price for the iPhone. But I’m also assuming they will be able to activate used iPhones as well since the iPhone second hand market is almost an industry within itself!
Now hopefully other Carriers will follow Cricket’s lead in making the iPhone available to for Pre-Paid subscribers.
